UHV(Ultra high voltage) compoiste insulator core rod of Taporel Electrical supports National UHV DC power transmission project.

On May 5th, 2017, Taporel Electrical and Xiangfan Composite Insulator Co., Ltd of state grid signed a cooperation agreement,the winning of changji to Guquan – the search ±1100KV high voltage DC power transmission projects in composite insulator core rod sentinel procurement. All of the UHV DC composite insulator core rods, in addition to the high technical requirements, short delivery cycle, especially the length is more than 15 meters, only the outer packing and transportation challenge suppliers a lot.
For this ten million core rod contract, General Manager of Taporel Electrical Wu Yamin held a special meeting and founded the working group, from the raw material supply, the process route formulation, production organization arrangement, on-line inspection, high voltage power frequency test, physical and chemical test, packaging, transportation, the ex-factory test report and certificate will be implemented.

It is learned that Changji to Guquan – the search ±1100KV high voltage DC power transmission projects is the highest voltage, conveying capacity of the largest technology,transmission distance and most advanced technical level UHV transmission project in the world, is one of the important measures to carry out “the Belt and the Road Initiative”and National “Transmission of electricity from the western to the eastern region”The key UHV power transmission project, has significant economic, social and environmental benefits. Engineering starting point is located in Xinjiang changji autonomous prefecture, the destination is located in Anhui xuan city, through 6 provinces (areas) including Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui , and a new HuaiDong, two converter station in the south of Anhui, in flow capacity of 24 million kilowatts, total length 3324 KM. At present, the project has entered the stage of comprehensive tower assembly by the foundation construction.The project is scheduled to be completed at the end of May in 2018 and put into operation.
