What is FRP Unequal Angle Steel?
FRP Unequal Angle Steel is an FRP structural member consisting of two unequal legs oriented in an angled plane. With the unique geometry and inherent advantages of FRP materials, it is an ideal choice for applications that require lightweight, corrosion, and high-strength structural support. It consists of a polymer matrix filled with reinforced fibers (such as glass or carbon). This produces exceptional mechanical properties. In addition, it is very resistant to chemical corrosion, moisture, and environmental degradation, making it an especially suitable material for use in applications under harsh conditions, for example in marine, industrial, and outdoor environments. Moreover, it is nonmagnetic and nonconductive, and thus safe and performs well in ECE and sensitive installations. The design of this product is well known for its lightweight, but durable design, reducing the overall structural load while maintaining stability and strength. Its manufacturing process provides for accurate dimensional control and provides the ability to tailor solutions to meet specific engineering requirements.

Features
- Non-corrosive properties
Unequal Angle Steel of FRP has great resistance to chemicals, salts, and industrial pollutants and accordingly, is very suitable for corrosive environments.
- High strength-to-weight ratio
It is much lighter than traditional steel and has a lot more mechanical strength, therefore simplifying transportation and installation.
- Thermal stability
Structurally we maintain it in varying temperature conditions and we can use it to do hot or cold environments.
- Low thermal conductivity
Provides thermal insulation properties, but can be used for applications where temperature control is necessary.
- UV resistance
Built to last long-term exposure to sunlight without degrading.
- Non-conductive properties
Make sure of electrical safety when installed close to power systems or equipment.
- Environmental sustainability
FRP production and use minimizes maintenance and increases product life thereby improving sustainable construction.
Application
- Coastal buildings to be supported structurally
Framing and reinforcement of buildings in marine environments; long-lasting resistance to salt water and moisture.
- Industrial cooling towers
Stable and longituding within support structures where high humidity and corrosive conditions are prevalent.
- Bridge decks and railings
Lightweight and corrosion resistant deployed as components in pedestrian and vehicle bridges to increase safety and durability.
- Chemical processing plants
Reducing maintenance requirements in corrosive industrial environments applied to platforms and support systems exposed to harsh chemicals.
- Agricultural facilities
For use in greenhouses and animal breeding structures where strong, noncorrosive materials are needed to resist exposure to fertilizers, water, and weather.
- Substations
Operated within non-conductive frames to allow safe use around high-voltage equipment.
- Offshore oil platforms
For use in walkways and structural support to resist the challenge of salt water, wind, and extreme temperature, is used FRP Unequal Angle Steel.
