Since 2005, composite insulator core rods have been exported to more than 20 foreign manufacturers, and the products are worldwide.

 

Taporel Electrical currently has 130 employees, including 32 scientific research and management personnel. There are 120 composite insulator core rod pultrusion production lines, producing about 20,000kg of composite insulator core rods every day (converted according to φ18 core rods). There are 5 sets of epoxy pipe production equipment for lightning arresters. The company has complete product inspection equipment. A high-voltage hall with a length of 24m×width of 24m×height of 20m has been built. It has 1 60kN tensile machine equipment, several sets of physical and chemical test and water diffusion test equipment, and 2 sets of stress corrosion resistance test equipment for composite insulator core rods.

Development History

1995 Weinan Fangzheng Electrical Insulation Material Factory (the predecessor of Taporel Electrical) was established.

1998 High-temperature-resistant core rods were successfully developed.

2000 Taporel core rods passed the US ES-3096 standard; on June 25, the acid-resistant composite insulator core rods (Φ38) produced by Taporel Electrical passed 140,000 vibration fatigue tests.

2021 The composite insulator core rods (FRP rods) and arrester tubes produced by our company have been exported to the world, and the quality and service have been recognized by customers.

2002 Shaanxi Taporel Electrical Insulation Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone. Taporel Electrical passed the ISO9001:2000 quality system certification.

2004 Core rod vacuum injection process was successfully developed.
2006 The third generation of ECR ​​acid-resistant core rods was launched. Taporel Electrical core rods are entering the international market. Taporel Electrical moved to Jinghe Industrial Park and occupied 80 mu, and the number of production lines increased to 60.

In 2007, Taporel Electrical was rated as a “high-tech enterprise”.

In 2008, the number of production lines of Taporel Electrical increased to 80, making it the largest composite insulator core rod manufacturer in China.

In 2009, the vacuum injection molding process of Taporel Electrical was successfully developed.

In 2010, the second phase of the Taporel Electrical Jinghe Industrial Park project was completed, covering an area of ​​110 mu.

In 2012, our company, Taporel Electrical, was rated as a “famous trademark” by the Xi’an Administration for Industry and Commerce.

In 2013, Taporel made a breakthrough in the production of large-diameter core rods for high-voltage composite insulator pillars.

In 2014, we produced a super-large pultruded & wound core rod with a diameter of 285 mm and a length of 4500 mm.

In 2015, we successfully developed and produced a large-diameter core rod with a diameter of 220mm and a length of 4500mm for UHV post composite insulators, which was a great gift for the 20th anniversary of the factory!

2016 The 4th generation core rod was successfully mass-produced and launched! The pultrusion speed is 120-150cm/min for diameters below 24mm; the pultrusion speed is above 30 cm/min for diameters of 120mm. The entire line of products can meet the needs of three-interface bonding without surface treatment, no grinding, and true “0” dust.

In 2017, Taporel Electrical signed a cooperation agreement with Xiangyang State Grid Corporation to purchase the core rods of composite insulators in the Changji-Guquan ±1100 kV UHV DC transmission project that they won the bid for.

In 2018, the State Intellectual Property Office of China issued the “Large-tonnage Composite Insulator Manufacturing Equipment and Process” certificate to Taporel Electrical Insulation Technology Co., Ltd. Patent number [ZL2016 1 0185747.8]. The patent certificate was issued by Shen Changyu, Director of the State Intellectual Property Office.

In 2019, Taporel Electrical’s international registered trademark passed the review of the US Trademark Office
